Greetings and Welcome to the Testing and Linkage to Care (TLC) Workgroup! As a group of committed HIV prevention and care professionals, we strive to balance efforts that address barriers to prevention and those that promote treatment. We like to think of our group as the bridge between HIV prevention and care. It is through our collective professional and personal mission, that we strive to minimize the barriers to HIV prevention and care. TLC’s goals are to support innovative, evidence-based initiatives that increase access to testing and prevention services while advocating for resources/programs that improve health outcomes for persons living with HIV. We envision a future of no new diagnoses, and for those living with HIV, having the resources to remain undetectable. TLC incorporates an intersectional perspective, recognizing that identities play a critical role in HIV outcomes. We strive to inform and engage the public on HIV prevention and care efforts, while actively addressing systemic barriers.
