Mission:
To build bridges between the HPG and NYC communities at large through strategic outreach efforts including social media engagement, community events, membership drives, and mentorship opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Plan, implement and assess community engagement strategies
Recruit, screen, and nominate candidates for membership
Interpret HPG by-laws and draft modifications and amendments as needed
Interpret, maintain, and modify HPG policies and procedures
Design thought provoking multimedia content
Plan mixers and create social media content to support the recruitment and retention of HPG members
Use HPG platforms to reduce stigma in communities most affected by HIV
JOIN US
Join us at an HPG meeting or at one of our events in the community, and, come “OWN” your seat as you share ideas that can help effect change in the ways we address the HIV epidemic in NYC!
